Party food

DS is having a go kart party next weekend for his 10th birthday. Party is 11.30am-2pm. There’s no option for food at the centre. There will be 6 children in total. I’m thinking of taking some crisps, biscuits and drinks to keep them going in between the activities. Will this be enough or do you think I will need more than just snacks? No food is allowed in the centre so the plan is to go in our campervan and set the table and seats up in there and they can sit in there to have some snacks in between. I’m thinking I may need more food with it being over lunchtime, any suggestions?

Pizza
Hot dogs
Oven chips
Cake

Thanks, I could do cold pizza that’s a good option but oven chips won’t work. Unless you mean to serve them cold?? I don’t have an oven or a kitchen in my camper. I’m thinking I will just take some sausage rolls, chicken bites, crisps and biscuits and if I cook a couple of pizzas and serve them cold. I’ve decided I definitely need to do food and more than just crisps and biscuits.

My sister had a similar party a few years ago, her DH went to Pizza Hut and got takeaway pizza for the kids to eat afterwards. More expensive than doing the food yourself though......

Pizza delivery? Wink

Agree with you. Having had 4 DSs, I can assure you that 10 year old boys doing an activity will be very hungry. Enjoy! Your party idea sounds great.

You could make sandwiches or order sandwich platters from a supermarket? Sausage rolls/cocktail sausages, veg batons etc

If Dd was at a party over lunchtime I would expect her to have lunch of some form

Pizza delivery is a great idea and the lads will love that. I will look into that as an option. Thanks
