Hi guys, I'm hoping for some ideas.. so it's my daughters 4th birthday soon and I'm doing her a party, we're hiring out a hall with a bouncy castle etc but concerned it may be a little babyish for the older family friends / siblings etc. most children at the party will be 3/4 as they're her school friends but there's a few that will be 6-10... any ideas on activities/games that would be appealing to that age group so they don't get bored?!

Thanks in advance 😘 xxx

A magician and/or an entertainer who leads the games.

Not a cheap option but kids at some family gatherings I've been to love my instant camera. They are not used to having a picture they can physically hold and hand round. But I think mine was about £60 plus film.

I agree a children's entertainer would be a good option, or even a friend who can lead some games.

Bouncy castle sounds great, I think kids will love it.
You can make a birthday video and play it while the kids enjoy the cake or at the very beginning to set the tone.

Here is a list of good birthday games: www.thespruce.com/free-birthday-party-games-1356524 and don't forget the classics like Music chairs or Pass the parcel. Think of small prizes like chocolates or candies, too.

Maybe even come up with various competitions, like guessing the song or drawing the birthday girl. Kids entertainer is always a good idea. You can do everything on your own, too, but it may be tiring.
