Hi there,

Any ideas or advice for a 7 yr old girl's birthday party.

We're in Glasgow.

Thanks Smile

Hi!

I have a soon to be 8 year old. Are you doing a large party or just a few close friends? I've done both for my girl before & both went well!
For a big party I've always just hired a hall, bouncy castle & made party food or done a soft play party. Last year for her 7th birthday I took her & a few friends bowling and for food which was a huge hit & not expensive! It really depends what your girl is interested in. (We get out & about loads and live near Glasgow too so happy to help if I can!)

DD has just turned 8 and recent parties have mainly been trampoline / climbing wall / inflatable theme park type parties.
Pottery painting is a good one or a disco party.

DD isn't girly and is old enough for me not to have to worry about big parties.

We've done:

Forest-schools/animals outdoor stuff - don't think anything went wrong

Paint balling (there is always one child that gets hurt)

Roller/ice skating-ditto

Trampolining-ditto

Inflatables in pool (usually popular, but some kids can't swim so possibly excluded)

Pizza party - huge fun (but must annoy other diners)

China mug painting (okay)

Cinema (usually fine by age of 7 or 8, but some kids can get bored- pick you guests carefully).

Good luck!
