No baby shower..

With my first I had a small baby shower. Auntie, cousin, couple of friends.
DP tried to organise one this time and no one responded. My cousin passed away, auntie fell out with my family, friends either moved away or we no longer speak. It's just highlighted how alone I feel at the moment especially when I'm constantly seeing baby showers crowded with people on my newsfeed. Anyone else felt this way?

Lots of people detest baby showers especially so when it's not someone's first baby? Id maybe chalk it up to that? But I guess re asses why your friends aren't in contact anymore? Was there a reason they drifted away?
