Where can I find large party bags to fit an A4 type size sticker/activity book

After all the recommendations I decided to buy activity books from the book people for my DS's birthday party bags instead of all the usual bits and pieces. However, I am finding it really hard to find bags to put them in - I aso want to put a couple of sweeties and some cake in the bags otherwise would wrap them up.
Any suggestions where I can find some good value(cheap) bags that would fit the books. I live in SW London so would prefer to be able to buy them as the party is next weekend.
Thanks

why not wrap them all up and do a small party bag with the sweeties and cake?

Last time I wrapped them up in tissue paper and did a lucky dip, they each made/decorated a small box to hold cake and sweeties from pinata. I did once get larger bags, from Partybox iirc.

I am in the same situation. I have bought books but am finding it impossible to find bags for them. Did you have any joy finding suitable bags as I don't have the time to wrap up 30+ books!

I'd just hand out the books and put the cake and sweets in wee bag!

why don't you buy gift bags - there are usually pretty good deals on them around at the moment - Poundland or something like that?

make the bags up yoursefl. dead easy. all you need is some gift wrap type paper, sellotape, a hole punch, and some cord for thenadles. o, and a little b it of cardboard for the base if you re going to put heavy stuff inthem

What about those brown paper bags with the little handles on, the sort that some shops use. They come in different sizes.
I bought some shoes at a shoe shop the other day, the bag had the shops logo on it but that would be just the right size if you could get some without logo's. You probably be able to buy them off Ebay, but don't know what they would cost.

Could you make one with an a4 envelope?
I'm thinking chop the flap off, and punch some holes for a bit of cord to go through for handles.

The children could decorate them at the party, or you could just write their name on each one.
