My son is 3 in July
Wondering whether a party is worth it or is he too young?
Could go zoo with family ( we all have passes though so not a novelty) or just a little family party

What did you do for 3rd birthday?

Also what presents did your son get just starting to get ideas.

I'd have a small party at home/in the park just close friends and family, max of 10 people. Cake and balloons. Bit of lunch maybe. Music and bubbles. Nothing more than that at 3.

Present wise I'd go for a scooter or balance bike if he doesn't already have one. Football/stickers/few books if he needs extra presents. I wouldn't go mad on presents at that age either.

Thanks, yeah cousin and grandparents prob enough for me I just want to make it special with the past year but not sure I'm ready to start inviting his friends yet.

Got a balance bike last Xmas 🤔

We had a canal water system toy thing. It was great. I'd definitely not waste money on a massive do.

We had a family party in the garden with a bouncy castle and played pass the parcel

I wouldn't throw a big party either, just a small family celebration with balloons and simple but colorful decorations. Might as well book a family photo shoot to have the memories captured and later on make a video collage about the Birthday or print them out for your DS to look through them when he's older.

Love the collage video idea.
