You've always been so good in the past dear mumsnetters.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

He's early 50s. Used to be into the gym and cycling but work has got in the way. If you asked him what he'd like, he would probably ask for the world to stand still for a few months so that he could catch up.

He has a voucher for cycling at the Velodrome from Christmas 2019, still not used.
He has a voucher for a climbing thing from his birthday 2019. still not used.

We bought him nice wine and whisky for Christmas; it's been drunk so we could buy more but ..

He's got enough clothes for about 4 people.

Any ideas gratefully recieved.

TIA

If he has two vouchers not used, I guess that's it for the voucher thing for now, but maybe you could look for something that he or both of you could do right away? Depends on the restrictions in your area, but maybe some tickets with the particular date on them?
I also find the answer about slowing the world down to catch up to be quite lovely! Your DH sounds like an inquiring man, so maybe he'll enjoy getting audio books or magazine subscriptions? Think of something about famous cyclists or athletes if he is interested in that. If he enjoys various computers stuff, you can think of getting him some program to explore, like photo editing or slideshow making software. A bottle of nice wine is also an option for the list along with a dinner delivered from the place you both like.

Thank you Fearless. I have bought some nice wine but think the idea of dinner from one of our favourite restaurants might be a really good shout.
I’m going to pursue that idea right now. Thank you

I was looking with longing at Stein in a Box but went for something less pricey in the end. It looked fun though.

I'm in exact the same position, but dh's birthday is very soon Confused. He's just mentioned a weighted blanket so I'm getting on that now, although it will probably be late...
