My daughters 9 on Friday. She’s not really into toys, dolls. It’s getting more difficult to get her gifts. She’s like a teenager at 9 gift wise. We bought her new trainers, Nike hoodie, T-shirt’s and a rainbowcorn. Aunty has got her, a new soft blanket, bath bombs and a teddy. Everyone else is giving money. Any ideas what else I can buy? Not too expensive? We don’t really spend a lot on birthdays

How about a tie dye kit or some other crafting activity set? A cute backpack, a reusable water bottle, polaroid camera, fairy lights/ led lights, and stationary are also affordable things that she'll get good use out of!

Thanks the fairy lights is a great idea. Plus a backpack. Thanks for that! xx

Mini fridge for her room? Great bargains to be had on Argos :)

Led light is a great idea, or it could be something like a lava lamp, too. You can also think of a funny posters of something she likes (books or movies) or maybe a calendar with pictures of her favorite characters. You can either make it online via www.canva.com/create/calendars/ or get a photo calendar maker photo-calendar-software.com and then print it out. It will be much cheaper than ordering a custom calendar from a local photo store. A bubble machine is a great thing, too, especially if the bubbles are unbreakable and don't pop right away.

My DD is 9 next week but is still very much into her dolls.

A few non-toy things I have got her:
A gratitude journal
A worry monster
Fairy lights for her room
Key rings for her back pack
Hair bobbles/clips from Claire's
Decorate a squishie set
David Walliam's worst children/teacher/parent books
