Hi,

My DD's (3rd) birthday is 21st Dec. I've booked a party for Saturday 18th. How far in advance should I send the party invites out? She's the first one at nursery to have a birthday party so I've got no experience of this.

about 6 weeks before id say, especially as it around the xmas period.

I'd send them out quite early as it's in the holidays. Alot of people go away for the school holidays so it's best to know well in advance who's not going to be able to come. I have this problem with my dd as her birthday falls in a school holiday.

I'd say beginning of Dec

we are having dd's 5th on this date and I am sending out invites the first week they go back (ie next week),
