My DS is turning one at the end of October, and I need to organise something quick. I have around 25 children (and mothers) to come to party. Initially thought of doing something in garden, but if weather is bad, it would be a disaster as we can not possibly fit in the house!

So thought of thinking of venues that doesn't cost the world.... any ideas?

We live in camberley, surrey, but would go anywhere around for a good and reasonable (and fun!) venue...

anybody can recommend something?

What about a soft play centre that has a section specially for babies? Little Angels in Guildford ... on the way out to Woking ... has one but there are centres like that all over the place. At that age they just like to crawl around and maybe go into a ball pool (but a lot of them hate them and prefer to just play with the balls!).

I live in Godalming and Charterhouse (the school) has a gym and in the gym there's a creche and if you're a member you can hire that for parties. Not suggesting you become a member just for the sake of this party but something like that is perfect ... they have the toys and little tables and chairs already available. Often you'll find church halls are perfect as they run creches during the services so have lots of toys and a kitchen to prepare the food and make cups of tea etc for parents.

Does that help?!
