My eldest is interested in Halloween this year for first time! I’ve got an outfit for her and decorations for house but feel a little anxious about whether to take her trick or treating as I’m not sure anyone does it anymore, well not in my street anyway, lived here for 10 years and never had a trick or treater. What would do u do for Halloween for a 4 year old? I can’t find any events where I live either, any ideas on what I can do? No family living nearby do feeling like she’s going to miss out on any fun

do you have a housing estate near you OP? that's usually where you get the most trick or treaters. bring a bag with you and only go to the doors with a pumpkin outside, but if you are in an estate you most likely will see other dc too x

We get absolutely loads but we do put a pumpkin out. I think these days people only visit houses that are trimmed up or displaying a pumpkin. Take her out Halloween Smile

They certainly do round here! Put out some Halloween decorations and the trick or treaters will be at the door! The convention seems to be to only call on houses which are decorated.
