Can anyone recommend a cheap but good DJ in the South-West? Needed for late sept but online quotes way pricey. Only want to spend about £50, but just got quoted £140, nearly fell off my chair. Must have bubble machine, sparkly lights and good supply of Grease songs, High School Musical songs, chart music and party dances.
Am I asking a lot?

I cna't help exactly but just wanted to say that whoever you get make sure they allow the kids some free dancing time. So many of the disco parties I've been to involve the DJ shouting at the kids to wave their hands in the air, jump up and down now do this now do that....etc. Whilst a bit of group activity is fun, my kids complain bitterly if they haven't been allowed to just dance.

Thanks for replies, I am in Somerset. I will have to ask other mums at school but wanted to get it sorted early, and no-one is around in August.
