If you have a summer birthday, when do you celebrate?
My birthday is mid Aug, ever since I was a child this has meant half of my friends are away so I haven't done anything really big since my 21st. If I do anything I usually try and arrange it last minute and most people can't make it.
Next year it's a big birthday and I'd like to do a proper house/garden party with sound system, the lot.
So I'm being organised and thinking about the date now. I'm wondering whether to book an aug date in now and risk the fact that some people will book holidays etc regardless. Or go for a less risky July/Sept date, when the weather will be potentially less nice.
Any advice on safest summer dates?
