Not sure if to book this date

It's almost DS 10 birthday and he's said he wants a birthday party but the venue of choice only does parties on Sundays and his birthday is Friday 14th June. There is no availability the Sunday before but two slots available on the 16th (fathers day).
One slot is 2pm the other is 5pm. if you were to book either which would you book and would you take your child to a birthday party on fathers day.
He's only looking to invite 10-12 of closest friends.

I would definitely take my son to a party on Father’s Day .
Would maybe go with the 5 pm slot for those that want to go out etc

Personally I think a 5pm start for a child's party on any Sunday is a no no. I will also take my child to a party on Father's Day.

I’d say 2pm as we are evening eaters rather than lunchtime.

I'd book the 5pm. I would definitely take my child. Lunches out, visits to grandpa's and celebrations are likely to be over by 5. Book the earlier one and a few children may not be able to attend your ds's party.

Definitely 2pm, I wouldn't be so keen on the 5pm one as we would be doing homework/baths/uniforms etc ready for school on Monday, and getting things ready for work. Father's Day wouldn't bother me
