A mum from school/toddler group. I get on well with her, we talk lots there.

She says that the evening do of her wedding in a few weeks is a free for all and everyone is welcome to come.

Will I look like weird school mum turning up???

I think we count as friends now, but have never done anything outside of the regular child meetups (twice a week at toddlers, and at school gate etc...).

I'd like to go - she's nice and I'd like to see her in her dress etc .

I dunno what to doooooooooooooooooooooooo (and if I can convince DH to go to the reception of someone he doesn't know )

Will there be (a) champagne (b)attractive strangers to flirt with? And do you have a nice frock? If the answer to all three is 'yes', I'd definitely go. I don't get out much
