Oh my goodness. Where has time gone? DD1 is 8 today almost to this exact time of day too.
I thought I would post this before I went to bed so that she can read this thread tomorrow. DH and I have yet to wrap her present - she was so excited going to bed this evening she has only just gone off to sleep.

Thanks for your birthday wishes everyone. Happy birthday to Wallace's dd too! DD is very excited today and has been a very lucy girl with all her new pressies - and she hasn't even seen the rest of the family yet. We have a swimming party booked for her next Saturday so more celebrations with her friends then.

Kaloo - I started that thread about eight year old girls!! DD is being an angel today though and everything she has done in the last couple of weeks has been forgotten already. ....................................................until the next time!

Just off to start preparing a buffet - family round this afternoon. Am feeling very . I remember this time eight years ago like it was yesterday.

Ah thanks Whoops. How are you? Don't see you around on MSN much recently. Hope all ok. Mind you saying that I don't get on here as much as I used too - hmmmmm maybe that's a good thing.

Phew! What a busy but lovely day. We are all "chocolated out" from the choccie fountain now and house is almost back to normal after 8 children, all under the age of 8, running riot under the influence of copious amounts of sugar. DD is snoring her head off in bed now and I'm off to relax with a well deserved glass of wine.

I bought a chocolate fountain for yesterday it went down a treat! I'm probably going to put it on on Thursday night!
