I was thinking of holding an Ann Summers party, wanted to know if anyone has had one or been to one, was it successful or not? Would you go?

i have been to a few of these and they are usually a good laugh

kel4mum · 12/06/2007 10:54

harleyd, did you buy anything? Just yes or no fine!

harleyd · 12/06/2007 10:55

yeah i have one or two gadgets

Flumpybumpy · 12/06/2007 10:57

Can be a good laugh if you get a good rep. I have been to few and one rep was crap and it was a pretty rubbish evening. The better ones had loads of games to play (passing the vibrator between your teeth the the next person was hysterical after several glasses of wine).

They say you can make money out of it but i want to do it so i can get my friends together for a girlie night in

Ooh! Ive been to a couple of Ann Summers parties, and they have always been fun. Am going to another on the 5th July actually,
Its not something i do regularly, mind you! Just realised how that sounded
Do it, but have a glass of wine before the rep gets there, and make sure your geasts turn up a little earlier... there is nothing worse than a nervous ann summers party.
Enjoy!

kel4mum · 12/06/2007 11:02

Ive never been to one, so you have a rep that gets involved and sells the products to you?

FireFaerie · 12/06/2007 11:02

Geasts?! Where is my brain today?!
Obviously, i meant guests....

harleyd · 12/06/2007 11:03

the rep comes with a load of samples etc. you play silly games and have a laugh. its def best after a pile of wine

Flumpybumpy · 12/06/2007 11:04

Yeah, the rep turns up with a case full of goodies and hands them round for you to look at. The fun part is if the rep has got any good games and gets you all involved and having a laugh. It's quite boring if you just sit there and the rep just shows you the stuff and hands out a brochure (like one I have been to).

Also, as the hostess you will get a free gift for holding the party and also a pertcentage of the sales she makes in the evening to spend for yourself. So the more people buy at your party the more you get.

kel4mum · 12/06/2007 11:09

That sounds great

you will have a great night.all you need to provide is some wine and some nibbles. You dont have to worry that the other people would know what anyone else or you is buying as its all done very discreetly.have fun !

kel4mum · 12/06/2007 11:55
