Joint parties

Advice please. My daughters and her friend would like to hold a joint party this year. Makes complete sense to me and her mum was in agreement too. I’m now having a problem getting my daughters friends mum to agree what we should do. I’ve text a few times but had no response. Time is passing by and nothing has been arranged. Should I just go ahead and organise the party just for my daughter? Any suggestions on how to deal with this welcome!

do you do school drop off? if so, just quickly mention that you have text her. if not, then maybe your daughter could ask her friend to get her mum to check her messages? if you still don't have a reply, i would go ahead and organise something.

How old are they and who will be providing the gear?

If time is running out, I'd phone her.
