My lg is turning ten this month and wants a few friends over. I am wondering how to entertain 10 ten year old girls for a couple of hours without being the naff mam bringing out pass the parcel!

Well, at 10, I'd invite far fewer people, and mostly leave them to it.
Maybe let them do something specific - be that a water slide in the garden, or making pizzas or baking - and they will entertain themselves.

10 is tricky though, as it is too many for that, if you've already invited them.

Buy some cheap white T-shirts, fabric pens, fabric glue, gems, scraps of ribbon and other offcuts and they'll have a great time!
Making pizzas is always a good idea for dinner.
Even ten year olds like a treasure hunt.
You could finish by watching a film with popcorn.
