I would call the mum of the b'day child and explain. Can you drop your DD off and then pick-up later? (Having said that my DS is only JUST getting to the stage of being OK with that and he is almost 6).

If your daughter is five, you could leave her?

Twiglett · 21/04/2007 08:04

parents don't stay at 5 year old parties in general

Kaz33 · 21/04/2007 08:06

If your 5 year old won't stay on her own then shouldn't be a problem if you stay with 3 year old. But just ring the mum and explain.

Otherwise explain to 5 year old you will be leaving, drop her off. Should be fine

Take a snack and treat for your 3yo, in case there isn't a spare party bag etc.
