Musical bumps
What's the time Mr Wolf?
Shark attack - Lay a blanket on the ground and get the kids to walk or dance around it while music plays. As soon as the music stops yell out “Shark!” and all the kids need to jump onto the blanket as quickly as possible. You can run around the edges as the shark and nibble at (gentle tickle) any little toes or body parts that are off the blanket. Lots of fun – just be ready for heaps of squealing! If you like, the last kid on the blanket can become the next shark.
Kiwi and spoon race (less messy version of the egg one!)

It's not a game, but just blowing bubbles for them to pop!

One leg, two legs, no legs.
Play the music when it stop the children have to choose whether to stand on one or two legs or sit down.
The person who stops the music does so without looking at the children and shouts out one leg, two legs or no legs. All those in that group are then out.
It's more fun than musical statues and quicker to play so they don't get so bored!

  1. Limbo Game
Have 2 older kids or adults hold the Limbo pole ( a broomstick) about 3 feet from the ground. Line up the kids and play some fast paced music. Let the kids go under the Limbo stick without touching it one at a time. If they touch it then they can be out for that round or for younger kids let them stay in an keep playing. After everyone goes under the Limbo stick lower it a few inches. 2.Fox and Hen Game Have children sit on the floor in a large circle. Give two bean bags to two children that are opposite each other in the circle. Name the first bean bag the "Hen" and the second the "Fox". Children pass the bean bags around the circle to see if the fox can catch the hen.
