where can I take my friend to celebrate 50th birthday

We went to the Sanctuary for mine which was a great idea but obviously cant do the same again. Any ideas at all would be very gratefully received. (In or around central London) TIA

How about Eurostar to Paris for the day? (well it does set off from central London!)

Tate - Gilbert and George Exhibition is great if you like that kind of thing

Lunch:
Oxo tower or bistro

Afternoon:
show at the Globe / Vinopolis

Evening:
Drinks / champagne at one of the bars - there is a greek place that does lovely meze as you will still be full from lunch

Thank you - I DO like your suggestion and the others!! Have had mixed reports about the OXO tower but never been myself. Have you always had good experiences there DT.

I think Paris for lunch might be very cool. Just cant make my mind up!!
