Having a fancy dress party for dh's 40th with the theme being rock & pop stars from 1967 - 2007. Some guests are struggling for ideas and I don't like seeing them stranded. Any suggestions would be gratefully received - thank you !!!

I was toying with just a generic 'summer of love' (1967) theme, but now we're doing casino royale (posh frocks and djs).

ok that doesn't help you, so how about:
