How does this sound for a dinner with a difference?

Invite 3 couples and give them a course to buy each (just ingrediants not cooked)

When they arrive either pull 2 names out of hat and give them the starter ingrediants, next 2 main course etc or just swap couples with courses so you are not cooking the course you bought for?

Just thought it would be different and a bit of fun.

Who'd get first dibs on the oven etc though?

i would be worried about undercooked food

I think I would have to tell them before hand what I was doing so that they could buy ingrediants that could be prepared quickly. Each couple would get 20 minutes to prepare their course so they would get exclusive use of the kitchen. (no joints to roast etc!)

sounds like fun, you can always have beans on toast if it goes wrong !
