30th birthday party

Hi there, looking for opinions. Having an afternoon tea party for 40 close friends and family for my 30th birthday. Didn't want to do a big full on party. I thought it would be a nice touch to have a saxophonist- what do you think about this? Husband thinks it's a bit OTT.....

Its your birthday and your party. Do it. (Ive just received this advice for my 40th) as long as the saxophone player isnt too loud and doesnt get offended if people keep chatting whilst they play - sounds like a good idea. Or were you thinking more of a concert where people are entertained and have to pay attention. Anywua. Peiple have whole bands and choirs at their weddings. Yoi can have a musician at your birthday.
