Robin Hood themed party

We are arranging a party for my Dad's 50th birthday this August. As he is originally from Nottingham we thought it might be fun to theme the party around Robin Hood.
After celebrating how clever we were to think of such a good theme, we then found it might be quite difficult to do!
We have struggled to come up with the following that we could incorporate into invites/decorations -
Bow & arrows
Trees/Forests
Lots of green
Mead
Large chicken drumsticks
Green pointy hats (you know what I mean, like Robin wears in the cartoon)
Pics of the main characters

Help!
Any more (better!) ideas much appreciated!

Lots of chocolate coins to steal from the bad and give to the good?

You will need a supply of green tights!

You could allocate characters to certain guests - so you have a friar tuck, a maid marian, will scarlett etc

LOL! Sorry I didn't mean fancy dress!! Just as a background theme for invites, decorations, cake, etc. Will def make my Dad wear a Robin Hood green hat though

Gold coins is a fab idea.

yes, like a pin the tail on the donkey. but a pic of your dad's head with an apple on. (i know i'm getting my will tell mixed up but who's counting?)

medieval type banquet for the food?

maybe even a roast pig!!!!

Have an 'archery' contest with darts.

Have goblets to drink from.

Make parchment invitations with tea-stained paper.

How about a quiz ? You could use the coins for a reward or a treasure hunt?
