DD is having a party on the 4th March. I was going to give out invitations at school before half term but she was off ill, so now they'll be given out on Monday. A few people have said that it's pretty short notice and a lot might not come and I'm panicking!
Surely two weeks is enough??
I know we do normally get invitations three or four weeks in advance but will it really make a difference do you think?
I'm really counting on at the very least half of them coming, and will be buggered if they don't. Everything is paid for.

2 weeks notice is loads! they must have very complex social schedules. Explain illness situation to them if need be but to be honest it is loads of notice.

DD is going to a party today and she got the invite on the last day of half term.

I have had parties in the past and worried about low attendance - I think one was the weekend at the end of a half term and loads of people had been away. I worried my socks off over it. DS didn't notice that it was 12 instead of 25 and we all had a ball.

I am sure it will be fine, 2 weeks is fine.

I usually always give mine out with 2 weeks notice.
