Spring Equinox party ideas

I've agreed to organise the spring equinox party for dd's woodcraft folk. Any bright ideas for games, activities, food etc? Weird lentilly ideas tend to go down well with this group.

So far I haven't got any good ideas at all.

I knew I'd have to bump this....someone must have ideas. come on, lentil-weavers and assorted party-experts.

Zip zap boing. Sitting in circle send round zip with left hand. Zap with right. Or boing it to another memeber across the circle. Start slowly and build to phenomenal speed.

Fennel my dh does loads of drama workshops and games for people including the National Theatre. He's fab at it. I'll CAT you with his number and he can give you some hints.

I've catted you. I'll give it some thought and get dh to do the same.

There's all the green man stuff where you have to chase him out of the woods. Then you tie up the fool. Women all have to wear flower garlands. There is, of course, dancing round the Maypole too. We usually attend a weird gathering of this nature but this year have to miss it because we'll be camping.

It's all about fertility and flowering. The colour returning to the land, the crops brusting through.
