Dd is off to a luau this weekend.

Have just bought this set of pink grass skirt, bracelet and lei

What else do I need to finish her outfit off? Also bearing in mind it is February and in a church hall!

She is 4y10m.

I would add thick tights and a long sleeved top at the very least!

Big flowers or fake ones in her hair too?

oh hula I could have sent you dd's from our beach party last year!

Yes, need something for her hair. I am sure she has some bink bobbles with big flowers on - can't find them.

Have no flip flops either! Argh.

Must have a swim suit somewhere.

Was thinking of sending her hoodend towcho thingy too - has a tropical butterfly on so matches! She also has a Hawain dress - a bit like Lilo's so could sned her with that as an alternative.

Luckily DD feels no cold!

DD has flip flops if you are stuck - and a pink swimming cossy - or an all in one sun suit - turquoise and spotty.

Think I have a pink costume. Maybe I should use this as an excuse to go and get her some pink crocs?

The skirt set has arrived And have flipflops on the way (I hope) - they have big pink flower ont he front of each. Just had a thought - DD could wear her light pink, long sleeved ballet leotard under it all - with bikini top over it, and then some thin ballet tights. That should work shouldn't it?

Party today Never done a tropical luau in the snow before, but DD love dit regardless! Had to resort to her ballet outfit underneath to keep her warm enough though.

My hulagirl - no longer a baby, lol!
