Party invite hell

So we've invited 10 children for dds party next weekend

Half can't come , I suspect because there's another party going in but not entirely sure

Is it OK to send out a few more invites to other friends in the class or will they feel second best after they might have seen dd hand out the first 10 invites ?

It doesn't feel right somehow but I feel so sad for dd

I think the children would just be happy about going to a party

If there is another party on though, new invited children may have to say no too

Does your dd have any cousins, or do you have any friends with children? Could bulk the numbers out a bit
