Hi, My dd1 is 6 in 2 weeks. I have (wisely????) decided to have a craft party for her and have already issued the invites. However, I am having difficulty finding shops which sell magnet kits and the likes for the kids to make. I am also doing this on an extreme budget. Can anyone help??? I have flower making and jewellery making so far. Please help.

Definately try www.bakeross.co.uk, although I think yellow moon is something to do with these guys - they'll have everything you need I'm sure. Good luck

escape · 01/02/2007 19:10

Thats www.bakerross.co.uk - sorry!

wotzsaname · 01/02/2007 19:13

we made face masks.

made a template, bought some thin elastic and gliiter and feathers, cut thin strips of colour paper and curled with knife and some and stuff. Felt tips etc.

each made thier own. Kids and Parents thought it was great.

No kit.

Hi, did you get the templates from somewhere and did you print it on card. I had thought of doing this with crowns, but am hopeless at drawing so would need a template from somewhere

bakerross - that';s who I was trying to remember - they are connected to yellow moon

singyswife · 01/02/2007 19:16

I have just been on both sites and wondered if they were the same.

You say you're on a strict budget so try pound shops and The Works for craft stuff like glitter, sequins, glue, sparkly pipe-cleaners etc

wotzsaname · 01/02/2007 19:20

heres a link i just found

www.tate.org.uk/learning/kids/mask/

wotzsaname · 01/02/2007 19:28

Some great ideas here. I like the Circe one, with tongues! see the link Tate Online Masks

Have a graet time. it doenst need to be expensive.
