If anyone has a moment, please could you write what you've recently bought for a 10 year old boy? I need ideas as I'm not sure they like at that age.

TIA.

Science museum walkie talkies (can get from argos), they work up to 3 miles, he loves them. He really wants heelys for his birthday. Airfix models, ps2/ds games, Pass the bomb game. Who is it for? Is there a budget?

Yup science kits, how to draw cartoon book, model making kits, DS's favourie from Christmas was a planetarium kit with star chart projector. TK max is good for stuff like that. Not so good for the more sorty types perhaps.

Thanks for your responses - they are all appreciated. It's for my godson. I know I could ask my friend but she's so fantastic at buying stuff for my DD's (who are younger than her children, so she's 'been there, done that' and knows what sort of thing they seem to like without asking) that I wanted to surprise them both by getting him something without asking first ... the only problem until now being that I hadn't got the first clue what 10 year old boys like and they live in the States at the moment, so I haven't seen him/them for a few years.

Science Museum walkie talkies sound good. Am off to check those out ... and to Google 'heelys'!
