Advice saught: I feel like my 6 yr old son has been left out of his friend's party. I want to ask his Mum (+ my friend), 'why?' and 'do you realise the upset caused?'.
But I know I can't ask!!.....so is there anything else I can do??
(PS My son seems much less bothered than me, even though his core group of friends are going and birthday boy came to our sleepover party etc etc). If you've ever felt the same, I'd love to hear from you xx

Arrange something special for the day of the party so he has something to talk about if the others are talking about the party.

Not much else you can do Sad

If he's not as bothered as you are, leave it alone. His parents may have limited numbers and on a whim, your son didn't get on the list. As pp said arrange something fab to do on the day.
