Party for different-aged children

DD is coming up to 3. For 1st and 2nd birthdays we hired a local hall and had a little buffet and so on. Thing is, all my friends' LOs are aged between 1 and 11. DD has a couple of friends from nursery we will probably invite, but I need some reasonably priced party or event ideas whereby kids of all different ages AND their parents can join in.

I'd love to just have a few people round to our place, but our tiny flat won't really allow more than 4 adults in it at a time!

Oh, also - DH is keen to have another party like last year but a) the costs soon add up and b) I'm the one left to organise everything

Lots of party venues in the area, but they seem suited to older kids than 3, or they're really expensive.

Would you consider a soft play party?

That's not a bad idea - all kids love to throw themselves around!
