Anyone had a party at one of these? or been?

Both my children, separately, have been to the one in Cambridge for a party. I did not attend, but they had an absolute blast. Both aged 9 I think when each went. One boy, one girl. DS actually pestered me for months afterwards to take him back so he could do the next level.... it didn't happen but then when DD got an invite he started up again!

Thanks so much AnonymousBird. We are nearest the Cambridge one but had only heard about it via a friend who went to the new Nottingham one, so I was a bit concerned as places vary.
My DD is going to be 10 so fairly similar. Was the food etc half decent and did your daughter enjoy it as much as your son?

Age sounds bang on, sorry, no idea about the food - can ask them though, if they remember!! DD loved it, as did the group she was with I gather, but in that case the birthday girl and chums were quite tomboy-ish so don't know if it is for the shy, retiring, doll playing type as I got the impression it was quite hands on and active.... Not a clue what the prices are like, so if value for money or not.
