Party bags?

Just wondering if others normally give out party bags at a 10-year-old's party, or are they too old for that now? I've never liked them anyway, but didn't want to hurt others' feelings and my dd liked making them up. I'd be grateful for any ideas. Maybe £1 book tokens each? We normally have about 10 children at the party.

don't know re 10 year olds.. but I always think books make the best pressie... you can buy a good selection on line from the book people I believe.

I think £1 book tokens sounds like a great idea: much nicer than a bag of junk, which probably ends up costing more. Maybe dd could enjoy writing the card for each person to say thank you for coming to the party?

Thanks for taking time to reply. Yes, I also thought of vouchers for one of the High Street shops maybe.
