I have booked a swimming party for my DD but because she is only going to be 7 I need one adult for every two children under the age of 8. I have a few people I can ask but not enough to cover everyone that will be invited. I was going to ask for parents to help and also say that siblings are welcome as long as the adult/child ratio is correct. I am not going to do a proper tean for them as the party is fairly late so I was going to offer a snack and party bag to all of the children and a snack (possibly cake) for all of the parent helpers.

But how do I word it without ending up with an essay on the back of the invite?

Thank you

Swimming pool ratios mean I need about [10] parents to stay - please let me know if you can help!

How about

"Swimming pool ratios mean I need one adult for every two children under 7, please let me know if you will be able to stay and help - there will be cake for any helpers"

And

"Siblings welcome to stay and swim as long as there are enough adults to cover the under 7s"
