Hello nappy addict. I am new here and I saw your thread in 2010 about vaccination exemption in france. i live in france and my daughter is 2. I have an issue with the vaccines here and the law. i believe she had a reaction when she was 9wks and we have not vaccinated since. i want her to go to school here but i am worried about raising this. can you give me any advice. i would love to get an exemption form how did you go about doing it and what was the school like to deal with. i hope you can help me

I wouldn't- on the assumption that they aren't calling it a shower for this very reason.

If its a shower for the mummy, then take HER something - pamper treats, chocolate, wine for after! Just something nice to treat her as a lot of focus is on the baby. Then when baby arrives (and you know how big/small/sex it is) you can get something for the baby :) If its just a gathering, I would just wait until baby is born - you could always take something you would take to a party/dinner if its the norm like a small bunch of flowers or a drink for the hosts etc.
