Party for 5yr old

Hi all, I'm new here so please be nice :)
My son is nearing his 5th birthday and has his heart set on a Lazerland party. The place he wants is at advertise as being suitable from age 5 upwards (but are willing to allow under 5's at parents discretion)
I've already had to cancel our original party (bouncy castle/village hall type party) due to clashing with another classmates party so this is kind of a plan B.
There is a huge soft play at the same place but he's been to so many parties there, he doesn't want his party to be there.
Do I book lasers, make my son happy but run the risk of some parents not allowing their children to come/have children that don't want to join in if it's too scary for them or do I just book the softplay which nobody is likely to have issues with...except my son?
I've spoke to a couple of his friends moms, they like the idea of laserland but I can't realistically speak to every parent of who he wants to invite before making a decision.

Laserland sounds like it will be a winner for your son and probably many of the children going, you can go in with them so any child unsure can have their parent go in if that helps
