Is it common to have party bags at a Halloween pary?

My dp's asked me where the party bags where when I came back from buying halloween stuff. I didn't think I would do this as it's not a b/day party.
I was just going to have a bowl of nuts and sweeties and tell them to take some when they left. That's what you do at halloween surely?

I'm proud to be "common" so would never use this word like that.

I would say no party bags are necesary. You could just hand everyone sweets at the door as they enter as if they were just trick or treating. Or leave empty bags out on the table so people can take food/sweets home with them (then there is less for you to clean up!)

No! Party bags are way out of hand as it is...no need for them at a Hallowween party AT ALL!
Mothers of the world should unite to stamp out this 'party bag madness GONE MAD!!' that plagues us!

i have got party bags for my ds1 halloween party, but i did buy all the bits in our local poundstretcher when it was closing down and got it all 75% off otherwise i probably wouldnt have bothered.
