Someone mentioned a bubble machine for birthday party, I can't remember where you get them from?????
Can anyone help???
Is this a good idea or is it really messy?

I've seen them at ELC in the past.

hulababy · 15/10/2006 20:36

ELC do them, but probably only in summer catalogue.

TortUREoiseChamber · 15/10/2006 20:37

Argos do one.
They are good but i only use it outside! Obviously not good on wood/non-carpeted floors.

hulababy · 15/10/2006 20:38

Amazon and Argos for £9.99

MacdogOnElmStreet · 15/10/2006 20:39

I've seen them in ELC& Tesco.
Bizzarely you can also get them in 'pets at home' shops(bubbles for dogs), but think they're more expensive there
They don't make much mess at all

madmarchscare · 15/10/2006 20:39

Not good if you have small children around (has moving parts) unless it can be up out of reach.

Awesome thank you!

We got one from Toys R Us.

NotQuiteCockney · 15/10/2006 21:29

DH says some bouncy castle places rent them out ... bit pointless to own one if you're not going to use it often ...

fussymummy · 15/10/2006 22:28

I bought the Gazzilion machine from Argos for £9.99 and it was rubbish.

Then bought one from ELC for £15 (i think) and kids love it.

Only gets used outside.

ilovecaboose · 15/10/2006 22:30

same as fussymummy - got bought the gazzilions one and it was crap.

Replaced it with ELC one that was great.

Bigger Tesco stores have them (but not sure if they're year round or just a summer thing).

spookegypt · 16/10/2006 10:59

the tesco one is just like the elc one, but much cheaper. they're about £5

hana · 16/10/2006 11:05

elc have 20% off at the mo
bubble machine is available on line
code is SPACE

and disappointed to hear about Gazillion - dd was given one for her birthday a week or so ago! grr

chicaguapa · 16/10/2006 14:18

Be careful where you get the mixture from. ELC one is great. We got a bubble machine last year for DD's birthday from Woolworths. Machine was fine but the bubble mixture that came with it was rubbish so DH had to rush out and get some more before the party (only 12 kids at that one! )

Think it's a great idea. The kids loved it and it's great to put on at the end if you run out of games. Add a bit of music and they're away!

01kiwicath · 16/10/2006 18:42

Thanks everyone but especially HANA, was going to order online tonight from ELC, so thats great to know, as a bargain is even better, especially with all the other party treats we'll have to get!

CHeers!
