daughters 5th birthday/moving house

hi all its my dds soon to be 5th birthday on aug 8th anyway we are due to move some time early in the month or a few days after the birthday anyway so i was wondering do you think it would be unfair to only give dd a few small items then when i move throw her birthday party i really am torn no idea what to do any ideas welcome thank you :)

If this was me, I'd try and get my 5 yr old on board with the idea of a special little something on her birthday (not requiring organising or anything) - with the promise of a party later. Assuming she's at school, it may be more convenient to do a party in the new term anyway, when everyone is back off holiday.
