Pizza or pasta?

Hi, just wanted some advice. Having DD 4th birthday party soon which is 4-6pm so need to do proper food. Was thinking ordering in margarita pizza and doing selection of sandwiches and carrot sticks etc with birthday cake at the end. Do you think that's ok?DH reckons most kids would prefer pasta over pizza. It's in a village hall so for me pizza seems easier than pre making pasta then heating up although there are kitchen facilities. And then, do I do tomato pasta or a cheesy pasta or both?? Don't mind doing either as long as kids will eat. What do you think, pizza or pasta and if pasta, which one???

Pizza will be less messy than pasta, go for pizza!

Pizza! Easier less messy and can be eaten cold. Cold pasta is vile. A couple of sandwiches and crisps with a piece of birthday cake is all you need. Kids will eat anything, they don't care, food is food. I love kids birthday parties yum! [Grin]

Pasta is far too messy. It was one if the options at the bowling alley where dd had her 7th birthday & I dreaded one ofvthe kids choosing it

Def pizza.

Although at that age we got those little card board lunch boxes and made up one for each child. Tube of yoghurt, wee packet of quavers, crispie cake, juice and a sandwich (tuna ham cheese or jam)

Great idea, but do you think that would be good for an evening meal? Like the box idea, can pre pack

I think at 4 it's unlikely they will eat much. Too busy tearing round playing aeroplanes and bursting balloons.

Thank you x
