we have had 2 sleep overs in previous years with his old friends but we have changed schools so wondered if we could come up with something different.

Any idea's welcomed.. DS1 is at the oh I don't know phase..

There was a thread recently where everyone was getting very excited because someone was off to a B&Q party.

For my daughters 10th we did a swimming pool party with a massive inflatable slide/climbing thing.

They all seemed to really enjoy it and as they are all age 8+ you don't need adults in the water.

DS had a climbing party at a local climbing wall and then they came back and watched a DVD here.

11yo DS says LaserQuest / Paintballing is officially cool. Trips to rugby/20/20 cricket matches (or basketball games) also popular but could get very expensive unless there are deals going. In a similar vein, if his birthday is soon, and you happen to live near a team, a trip to an ice hockey match would definitely be cool. Depends what your DS is into generally - sports? arts? Does he have lots of friends or a specific 2/3 he would want to invite?
