HELP: races ladies day

What do I wear for ladies day at my local races?

I know all the classic 'races' outfits but they make me look awful!

I'm 5'6, slim with NO TITS! (34 AA) I also have short hair which doesn't seem to suit an awful lot of dresses.

I don't want to try to be too elegant as I don't have the budget for it and I tend to look dowdy. Normally I wear quite unique stuff for 'occasions' and the rest of the time I live in skater/surf gear or jeans.

Ideas? tips?

Trouser suits are very popular both in summery pastels and darker more evening styles. Perhaps with a unique top, have you been before, you get all sorts from tiny sheer dresses and ridiculas strappy high heels to knee length tweed and blouses with everything in between.

Are you in a posh bit with hospitality or with the everyday punters?

Funny when I have short hair I think I look silly and really dowdy in dresses.

Too hot for trouser suits!

I'm trying to avoid looking like lamb dressed as mutton IYKWIM. most 'races' or 'wedding' dresses make me look like someone's daughter trying too hard to look 'grown up'

gah, bugger it all i'll go in a bikini and sarong, its 34 degrees here today and too hot for anything!
