Cake boxes for birthday cake

I have ditched party bags for once and for all and now giving books as presents. So I quite fancy getting some plain cake boxes and sticking a thank you for coming to my party message on the top and putting a slice of cake inside. I wondered if anyone knew where to get them from.

Otherwise your local cake decorating shop.

Our old fashioned newsagents/bookshop sold them a few yrs ago. Try old style shops like that.

Thanks. 25p each seems ok with a nice handwritten message on each. Should be able to pick them up from the cake decorating shop and not pay postage. Will let you know how I get on (for purposes of the thread).
