Is this something all reception classes do before they break up? Ds1 convinced eh is going to win best-dressed teddy competition; he clearly has not figured out I cannot sew. Anyone available for a dressing a teddy commission?

Yes, use a big bear and put him in school uniform with a book sellotaped to his hand. Nothing like sucking up to the teachers to win first prize!

Ds1 insisted on taking his biggest bear (size of a 2 year old) with him on the last day before Christmas. I have no idea why, he just insisted. And Big Teddy had to wear school uniform. I just couldn't be bothered arguing, so Ted went to school and wore ds2's nursery jumper. Lugged the damned thing all the way there, he sat on the window ledge all day, then we lugged him back. Sigh.
