Present ideas for 5 year old boy

Any good ideas?

I'd like to get him one medium/main present then a few little things as well.

All he has asked for is a Knight's sword and shield which we saw in a soft play centre shop recently for £4.99. So that can be one of the small things.

Does he have a scooter? Or a bike?
Does he like Lego/duplo - they do great sets.

Playmobil was very popular with my DC at that age, as were dressing up clothes - they lived in police and firemen's uniforms.

Maybe you could get him a knight's dressing up kit complete with chain mail and helmet - they sell them at National Trust shops - not cheap but very nice.

Also loved kits for playdough at that age - monsters and volcanoes and machines that churned out playdough spaghetti etc. Not too expensive.

Agree with Lego - a whole world of price ranges and great fun to do together.

Love the knights dressing up set! Might even try and make one and just buy accessories!

He has a scooter and a bike already so that's no good.

He attends Lego Club at school and loves it so that might be a winner too - perhaps make that his main present!

Ds is 6 and recently got a great knights costume from Tesco.
