Summer party theme needed please

we've had themes for most of our recent summer parties and I'm running out of ideas......

Adult-ish parties ( a few 9/10 yos and some older teenagers). I know themes can irritate but it keeps me entertained! So far Pirates of Caribbean, The Big Chill (Mexican), Hawaii 5-0 for dh's 50th, Bollywood, la Bella vita, 70s, 80s.....

Probably 50/60 people outside (party tent). Doesn't have to be dressing up, would just like a starting point for food/decorations.

Films, neon, cowboys and indians, classic telly, dead famous...?

Grease, Bastille day, school uniform, James Bond.

For 7 and younger how about doing princesses and pirates theme or maybe for a mixed bunch do a teddy bear party? Xx

Sorry misread the comment.. How about doing a horror party? It's good for Halloween but good for summer too.. You could do a home murder mystery..

We did Hawaii 50 for dh's 50th(was fab btw) and love JB but friends did it brilliantly at Xmas. I teach so school uniform's a bit too close to the bone. Grease is a good idea though - really keen on something that will lead to good food ideas. Am thinking Arabian Nights or maybe Midsummer Night's Dream ......

How about pool party? it can also be nice summer party theme.
