It's dd's 21st on NYE and I'd like to decorate the house to create a definite party atmosphere.
When we had her 18th we had banners and stars strung up everywhere.

Any unusual ideas ?

Stupid phone!! Fill old glass jars with all different shapes and sizes of candles. Get white paper bags, fill with sand and put candles in for the garden. Will look magical. What food will you do?

Have a look on Pinterest for ideas. You could make heart/star garlands really easily with fishing line and those paint sample cards , just cut out and thread through. You could get lots of old photos, enlarge and fit around the space. I have seen army netting put up on the ceiling and then fairy lights strung through for a nice effect.

You know in b and q there are paint sample cards at the dulux but? Those ones. Just get lots in a complimentary pallet and get cutting.
